A&D Mushroom

It has been two weeks after we started planting mushrooms. At this time, we managed to produce 4 kg of mushrooms. The mushrooms are selling fast due to the high demand in the area. We deliver immediately once the mushrooms are picked. They are fresh and smell good.

The grey oyster mushrooms grow speedy unexpectedly. We can see the mushrooms grow bigger within 2-3 days time. It is time to pick the mushrooms again. This is about 1kg of mushrooms. We can see the size of mushroom is big enough.

We start to grow grey oyster mushrooms. All the 150 mushroom bags are opened and we are waiting to see the mushrooms growing. In one week time, the mushrooms are getting bigger. We can pick the mature mushrooms again. The mushrooms are as big as the palm. Also, you can compare the size of mushrooms with a Samsung Note 3 handphone. The mushrooms are now ready for selling.

For those mushroom bags which still are in the waiting period, we are sad to find that the molds start to grow. Luckily we found this issue at early stage therefor we move those affected mushroom bags out from the area. We clean and remove the effected portion from the mushroom bags. Total of 5 mushroom bags are having same issue, we then quarantine them from the  good one. This issue usually happen due to the reasons of the mushroom package production process, species, surroundings and management. The most effective way is to prevent, the tools must be kept clean, it is best to use before and after sterilization. Always keep the ground clean after harvesting.

We are happy to harvest the mushrooms. The mushrooms are so beautiful in white. As a mushroom fans, we cook mushrooms with mix vegetables such as tomatoes, japanese toufu, carrots etc. Surprisingly one of the mushroom is as big as a tomato. Besides, we also promote our mushrooms by packing into small plastic bag.

We prepare the mushroom bags and there is waiting periods. We are happy to start grow the mushrooms after the mushroom bags are mature. We observe the mushrooms at night. The mushrooms are growing bigger after 4 days and ready to harvest. We can see the mushrooms are fresh for cooking.
